The length of this dress makes it a little more sexy, but I think the sheer neckline and the layers of the skirt still give it a flowy, elegant vibe. Perfect for the after party, or for an outdoor spring wedding.
We went the daring route and decided to build a letterpress to make our invitations. We found detailed instructions here. Nick built it a month or so ago, but we haven't been able to actually try it out. Well, I designed a small plate, ordered from Logos Graphics in SF, and one day later, the plate arrived.
At the top is the film, which was needed to make the plate. Total cost was $30 with tax and shipping.
After a few tries, we got a good impression! Here are the results on a manila tag (which is what the plate is sized for), white cardstock, and a scallop circle card I got on sale at Paper Source.
