Find this dress

Can someone find this Vera Wang dress for me? Or something very close to it? I can't stop thinking about it. I know the beading may be too heavy for a beach wedding, but I love the silhouette.

Chairs uncovered

I'm over the chair-covered look. I want the chairs at my wedding to be uncovered, but still pretty! At first I was thinking Chiavari chairs, but now I like these wooden folding chairs, accented by a thin silk cushion. Looks great on the beach, no?

Jason Wu

Love this dress from Jason Wu's spring collection. It's not a wedding dress, but it could definitely be one.

Topshop dress

I found another potential dress for the engagement shoot. This one I'm leaning more towards, because of the striped skirt. Too bad there's no Topshop in the Bay Area.

Ici for me please

Ooh, if we were having our wedding locally, I would look into getting some Ici ice cream in there. After browsing their website, I found out that they have a portable ice cream freezer with umbrella, just for parties! That would be a fun addition to the reception. Cause you know everyone has room for ice cream.

Oh and if you don't know, Ici sells super delicious, fresh ice cream in Berkeley. It is worth a visit.

Read more about it here.

Flower power

One of the hardest decisions I'll have to make is which flowers to choose. Seriously, there are just too many pretty ones out there. Can I have them all?

An engaging dress

I haven't set up an engagement photo session, but I'm already thinking about what to wear. I think it should be a dress, but nothing fancy. Maybe this one perhaps?

Floral sketching

Stumbled upon some examples of floral sketching today and I thought they were pretty good visualizations of centerpiece ideas. I would really like this when I'm choosing between florists. Not sure if all florists do this, but I think it's a nice touch. Check out more sketches here

Ribbon on a stick

I don't know what to call them, but they look like ribbon attached to a stick. In any case, I like them way more than throwing confetti or flower petals. And they seem super easy to make, too.

What's the font?

I love fonts. And I'm in love with the font used in this invitation from Minted. I'm searching for a simple font for my invitations, and this fits the bill. Where can I get it?

Custom ceramics

Saw this custom ceramic plate on Style Me Pretty, and I think it's such a good idea. Perhaps the ring bearer could carry it down the aisle with the rings? Or have it on the guest book table as decoration? It makes a great carry-all after the wedding, too. (You won't forget your anniversary!)

I found the shop that made the one above, Elm Studios, but there's also Say Your Piece! on Etsy.

Vera Wang

Such pretty dresses from Vera Wang's latest collection. I'm sure they're all out of my price range though.

Amsale coco

I've just really started searching for a wedding dress, but I really like the bodice of this one. So dainty and pretty.

LBD

Okay, this is a bridesmaid dress and it's black, but it's so pretty! Maybe I could wear it for the dress rehearsal?

No cheese here

I've been unsure about having a videographer at the wedding. But after seeing this one, I'm leaning towards a yes. No corniness here, which is just how I like it.

Shoes that pop

I'm quite tempted to get these shoes. No, I haven't gotten my dress, but I think these would be so fun to have peeking under.

Get it at J.Crew.

calligraphy on my own

I love the look of calligraphy, and have been searching for a local class to take, but can't seem to find one. So off I went to Amazon to find a book. I decided upon The Calligrapher's Bible. So far I like that it has tons of different calligraphy styles and is spiral bound. I can't wait to buy some materials this weekend and start writing away!

Purple and Green and Grey

I've been on a purple fix lately. So I'm considering it as a possible color for the wedding. I love it combined with a bright green and any shade of grey. Oh the pretty flowers there will be!

Tear me a piece

These are the cutest postcards! I always love breaking the wish bone and those double popsicles bring back memories! Must find a way to incorporate them into wedding invites. Thoughts?
